Further Education

Based on the philosophy "It's never too soon or too late for learning" we think it is paramount that our undergraduates pursue their studies to the next level or the highest level as they wish. Once they have graduated and completed their Diploma we offer the opportunity to pursue their degree at KLMU where they can enjoy credit transfers as a pathway to their degree program.

Career Development

Over the years, our students have had highly mentionable experiences in securing themselves a job upon graduation – possibly due to a certain extent the effort of our Career Development and Job Placement Department that work closely with the students in their career planning and development. The process (planning and development) can be put into action while students are still studying and there have been occasions where we continue to provide some form of supervision and coaching even after job placement.

Our objectives are:

i) Wherever permissible, we endeavor to help students and alumni of KLMU and CICT to make well-informed choices about    their ultimate working lives would entail and to have these translated effectively into appropriate decisions and actions.

ii) Maintain and develop extensive links with organizations and employment agencies providing appropriate opportunities for    graduates, including propagating the University's philosophy of further studies.

iii)Continue to be the main provider for career-focused education, information and guidance for students within the    University and College.

iv) Work closely with employers with the aim of developing relevant employment and work experience opportunities.
