DIPLOMA IN MULTIMEDIA APPLICATION
INTRODUCTION
The Diploma in Multimedia Application is designed to equip students with skills in developing interactive multimedia products and to reinforce a creative mindset in managing multimedia-related projects. Students will gain the practical, creative and communication skills necessary to plan, design and construct fully interactive multimedia applications. Students are given the opportunity to bring theory to life through case studies and practical exercises using 2D and 3D imaging, animation, and digital, audio and interface design. Students are provided with the principles associated with managing and developing multimedia teams.
COURSE’S AIMS
This course is designed to meet the following aims:-
• To provide the conceptual knowledge in designing a highly interactive, eye- catching and creative multimedia application.
• To equip students with the technical skills in all the latest popular graphic design and multimedia software.
• To equip students in the necessary skills to work in a team and the relevant project management skills towards executing a multimedia project.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to work as animators, producers, multimedia programmers, web developers, multimedia designers and audio & video editors.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have at least one of the following:
• SPM (with 3 credits) in any subject.
• Certificate in the relevant field from a recognized institution of higher learning.
• Other equivalent qualification.
