DIPLOMA IN IT ( COMPUTER & NETWORK SUPPORT TECHNICIAN )

INTRODUCTION

The Diploma in Information Technology (Computer & Network Support Technician) provides student with the necessary skills in administering an organizations ICT system and networks. Student will learn the main components and the technical knowledge of how hardware works and the various networking operating systems in use within a small to medium organization.

COURSE’S AIMS

This course is designed to meet the following aims :-
• To provide all the necessary concept & technical skills in PC hardware, and the    networking operating systems so that graduates will be able to support any    small to medium computer networks.

• To produce graduates as Computer and Network Support Technician in order to    fill up the large job vacancies in this field.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to work as IT security executive, network technician, computer operations network technician, network and computer systems administrators, network system and data communication analysts.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have at least one of the following:
• SPM with 3 credits and pass Mathematics
• Certificate in IT or relevant field with MQA minimum standard
• Other equivalent qualification
