DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
INTRODUCTION
The Diploma in Business Management is designed to produce graduates with the technical and conceptual skills necessary to visualize and execute business ideas. The program is suitable for those who aspire to manage business operations. It provides an opportunity for the students to acquire knowledge and skills in business studies with an emphasis on critical thinking in management principles and practice.
The program aims to produce well-rounded, innovative and enterprising graduates who are equipped with the necessary skills to run their own businesses or contribute to the management areas within a department of an organization. The Business Management Project provides students with invaluable experience for starting small businesses or for being a proactive employee in an organization.
COURSE’S AIMS
This course is designed to meet the following aims :-
• To equip graduates with the concepts of business,
behavior and innovation management.
• To enhance graduates’ interpersonal communications skills, report writing and presentation skills.
• To produce graduates who are able to solve corporate problems effectively and ethically.
• To analyze and determine the factors required to create a conducive and productive working environment in an organization.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to work as assistant product managers, business development executives, loan officers, bank officers, business executives, operations management executives, office administrators, business executives and purchasing executives.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have at least one of the following:
• SPM (with 3 credits) in any subject or other equivalent qualification
• Certificate in Business with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
